Support for Getting Your Freight Moved

From posting your first job to understanding how payments work, here's what you need to know as a MyTruckMate customer — and how to reach us if you need a hand.

Post a Job

How to Post a Job

Posting a job takes a few minutes. Share what needs to be moved, your pick-up and delivery locations, and your preferred timeframe, then submit — there's no cost to post and no obligation to accept any quote you receive.

The more detail you provide upfront — weight, dimensions, and any special handling needs — the more accurate the quotes you'll get back.

How Quotes & Bidding Work

Once your job is posted, verified drivers running your route can respond with a quote. You compare pricing, availability, and driver details side by side, and choose the offer that fits your budget and deadline — there's no pressure to take the first one.

Day Driver Hire Booking

Need a driver for a set block of time rather than a single job? Day Driver Hire lets you book a driver directly by the hour or day, at the rate they set, instead of posting a job and waiting on quotes. It's useful when you need dedicated help for a period rather than a one-off move.

Payment & Invoicing

  • GST — every job and invoice is itemised with GST, ready for your own bookkeeping or accountant
  • Fuel levy — where applicable, any fuel levy is shown clearly as part of the quoted price, not added as a surprise later
  • Day Driver Hire payments are held in escrow and only released once the booking is confirmed complete, protecting you if something needs to be resolved first

If There's an Issue With a Job

Message your driver through in-app chat first — most issues are sorted out quickly this way. If you can't reach a resolution, contact our Support team and we'll help mediate using the job's record.

How Driver Verification Protects You

Every driver on MyTruckMate is reviewed by our Support team before they can bid on a job or accept a hire booking — covering their licence, vehicle documents, address, and identification. That review happens once up front, so by the time a driver quotes on your job, they've already cleared it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it free to post a job?

Yes. Posting a job and comparing quotes costs nothing — you only pay once you've chosen a driver and booked the job.

How quickly will I get quotes?

It varies by route and job, but many jobs receive quotes within hours of being posted, especially when the details are complete and specific.

What's the difference between posting a job and Day Driver Hire?

Posting a job gets you competitive quotes from multiple drivers for that specific move. Day Driver Hire is a direct booking with one driver for a set number of hours or days, useful when you need dedicated help rather than a single job.

How does payment work?

For Day Driver Hire, payment is held in escrow and released once the booking is confirmed complete. GST is itemised on every invoice, and any applicable fuel levy is shown as part of the quoted price.

What if my delivery doesn't go as planned?

Contact your driver through in-app chat first. If the issue isn't resolved, reach out to Support and we'll step in using the job's record to help sort it out.

How do I know a driver is legitimate?

Every driver is verified by our Support team before they can quote on jobs — licence, vehicle documents, address, and identification are all checked first.
